KPA as a UDF Constituent Party

We welcome the recognition of Kerala Pravasi Association (KPA) as a constituent of the United Democratic Front (UDF), Kerala’s leading secular and democratic alliance. At a time when divisive forces threaten our state's harmony, the UDF remains Kerala’s best hope for inclusive progress. Our alignment reflects this belief. In the last Lok Sabha elections, KPA extended full, unconditional support to UDF candidates in defense of Kerala’s democratic values. The United Democratic Front governments have made significant contributions to Kerala’s growth and development over the years. However, today, Kerala finds itself trapped in a state of stagnation. Unemployment among educated youth has reached alarming levels. Welfare pensions for the underprivileged remain unpaid for months. Maveli stores under the Civil Supplies Corporation stand empty, failing to serve the people. The Public Service Commission (PSC), once a beacon of meritocracy, is being systematically sidelined to accommodate political loyalists through backdoor appointments. The dearness allowance for government employees and pensioners has been reduced to a token gesture. Agriculture, industry, and tourism sectors vital to Kerala’s economy continue to lag behind compared to other states due to a lack of timely interventions and visionary leadership. Governance reforms must embrace the transformative potential of the AI era and ensure its benefits reach the common citizen. The pressing question before us is: how do we break free from this persistent decline? The answer lies in strengthening the UDF alliance and restoring good governance in Kerala. Kerala Pravasi Association calls upon the people of Kerala to rise above political stagnation and unite behind the UDF. Together, let us reclaim Kerala’s legacy of progress, secularism, and inclusive growth.
